#4 of 5 weekends. 9:00am registration 10 am walk through. Cost $15.00 per horse and rider combination. To be eligible for the year end awards you will have to run in 3 shows. Come see if you can handle riding, mounting, horse handling, bridge crossing, game events and trailer loading. You just won't know what to expect.

In June, July and August, come and enjoy the music of the Summer Concert Series at Jefferson Street Park.  It's FREE entertainment every Sunday evening from 6pm - 8pm.

Joyful Rescues will be holding its annual PetFest, Rescue Reunion and yard sale at its site located off Jollytown Road in Hinsdale.  This is a family friendly celebration of pets and all pets are welcome on leashes.

The Village and Town of Allegany will open Heritage Days weekend with an Allegany Get-Together on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the Firemen’s Park on N. First St.  Everyone will get a free hot dog, pop and chips, and the Allegany Alumni & Friends Band will play from 6:30 to 8 PM.  The Allegany Public Library will have a book sale on Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM.

BEAT FEST features the best in Buffalo’s local music.  With genres ranging from reggae to folk and blues to hip-hop. This is a relaxing family-oriented music festival.

Enjoy a great ride through southern Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties with a stop at Jamestown Harley-Davidson. Food, Chinese Auction, Raffles, Live Music. Registration at noon, Bike Blessing at 1pm then Dice Run.

9am - 10am there will be a FREE Nature Walk at the Lillibridge Property, 1974 Lillibridge Road.  Enjoy a leisurely walk through a rare old growth forest with large specimens of Eastern Hemlock, White Pine, American Beech and Red Oak, and observe the seasonal changes in this majestic forest.  Suitable for all ages.

This years concert series begins on Wednesday, June 16th and runs through Wednesday, September 1.

All shows will be held in Pioneer Park from 6:30pm - 7:30pm at the Gazebo.  Rainouts will takeplace at the Portville Fire Hall on South Main Street.

Cornell Cooperative Extension and Master Gardeners of Allegany and Cattaraugus Counties present a FREE lecture series on many aspects of gardening, July 7th through August 25th.

This week Barb Koxlowski, Master Gardener, will be speaking on "Gardening with Herbs" from 7 - 7:40pm, then Linda Blackmar, Master Gardener will speak on "Poisonous Plants."

Musicians from throughout the region are highlighted as they appear in local restaurants, bars, streetside and the Village Square.  Enjoy as many as 20 performances in a three block area.

Obstacle course will be set up you have to pull a log around the obstacles it will be timed and judged. Divisions - Draft Horse and Pony. Open anyone can enter except the beginner youth, Youth 16 and under, Beginner Youth 16 and under, you may not enter any other divisions. $10 per horse and Handler combination. Prizes 1st place 50% payback prizes for 2nd and 3rd in all divisions.
