Opening Reception for CCAC Member Show and Wendell Rivera Concert
The Cattaraugus County Arts Council’s (CCAC) biannual Member Show will open on September 17 in conjunction with a concert by Wendell Rivera on the Olean campus of JCC.
The Chuckwagon Supper Show at the Crosspatch
Early in the 1800's cowboys rode the western range on cattle drives. Every long, hard day in the saddle was followed by an evening of tall tales and music at the chuckwagon.
Salamanca's 33rd Annual Falling Leaves Festival
This year Salamanca is celebrating its 33rd Annual Falling Leaves Festival. In late1975, members of various Salamanca fraternal and service organizations were concerned that civic pride was declining and decided to form a committee to rectify the situation, so they formed a committee which was called the Salamanca Positive Action Committee (SPAC).

Changing Feathers Country Music Festival
Last Call to see the birds! Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary is having a "Changing Feathers Country Music Festival" on Sunday September 19 from 2-5 PM. $5 admission.
Music will be provided by "Strawberry Jam" with Liz Boberg, Pete Boberg and Gene Hilts on Steel Guitar and Friends.
St. Bonaventure University Family Weekend 5K
The Olean-area community is invited to lace up their sneakers and join the St. Bonaventure community in a recreational 5K run/walk on the Allegheny River Trail.
The St. Bonaventure University Family Weekend 5K run/walk will be held Saturday, September 25, and will begin at the SBU tennis courts at the west entrance to the university.
Fall Carriage Drive and Box Lunch Social
A round-trip drive/ride of approximately 10 miles open to anyone with a single horse and carriage or a team and wagon or a horse to ride.

All Around Cowboy Event Race
#5 of 5 weekends. 9:00am registration 10 am walk through. Cost $15.00 per horse and rider combination. To be eligible for the year end awards you will have to run in 3 shows. Come see if you can handle riding, mounting, horse handling, bridge crossing, game events and trailer loading. You just won't know what to expect.
Annual Sportsmen's Show
The annual Sportsmen's Show is being held by the Memorial Library of Little Valley at Green Gable Village just off 219 in Great Valley. Hours are Saturday 9am - 4pm and Sunday 9am - 3pm.

Yankee Reining Horse Association Show at Nash Hill Equestrian Center
Reining is a judged event designed to show the athletic ability of a ranch type horse within the confines of a show arena. In NRHA competition, contestants are required to run one of ten approved patterns, included in the NRHA Handbook.
